Is it ok to bake cookies in glassware as long as I rub vegetable oil on the surface to prevent sticking ? - vegetable oil supplies

I am somewhat limited supplies in the kitchen. I intend to a layer of sugar cookie dough into an ovenproof baking (I'm not going to make cookies, just a solid layer of cookie), but of course not join Pyrex once completed.

Is it OK if I rub vegetable oil on the surface of the Pyrex to prevent sticking? Will it work?
